CEDownloader is a open source tool to download Windows Embedded CE Images (*.bin) via an ethernet connection to a device. It is very easy to use so you don't have to buy Micorsft Windows CE Platform Builder (c) licences to transport your image to the device only. It it very usefull for development, testing and mass update. All you need is a Windows PC with the .NET Framework 4 and Visual Studio 2010 redistributable package installed and a target with a Windows CE Eboot running. A serial Terminal to start the image download on a device is included. This tool is free for any use.
  • Download WindowsCE Binary Image File (*.bin) via ethernet
    • Normal speed transfer 
    • High speed transfer - new in  CE6 Eboot
  • Launch image after download
  • parallel download of image(s)
  • Automatic start/restart of download
  • Intergrated serial terminal to navigate through eboot menu and start download

This application has been tested on a Windows XP SP3 system with .NET Framework version 4.
On Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 you must install this application as administrator.
